Heather Iverson had a few alcoholic drinks after coming home around 12:40 a.m. Thursday, April 27, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
She confronted a man in the house about ride issues, chucking multiple items at him in the process. While the man tried to calm Iverson down, she instead became more agitated and lunged at him with a knife, police said.
The victim was able to disarm Iverson, who was later charged with assault and battery, and attempted malicious wounding. She was taken to the magistrate’s office, but had to be removed due to her demeanor.
After a bit of a time out, she was allowed to reenter, where it was determined she would be held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond, authorities said.
